Despite being a significant distance from Earth, the Redlich system was prioritised for colonisation due to probe data showing an abundance of raw erithane in the gas giant there. As one of the first fuel companies on the scene, Frontline Fuels quickly established a base and staked a claim to the highly-valuable resource. It then defended its claim fiercely, quickly establishing a reputation as an aggressive galactic power.
It was only its undisputed claim to the Redlich giant that allowed Frontline Fuels to stay competetive once the Arbiter Fuel Corporation was set up some years later, and the two soon became bitter rivals.
This rivalry made it all the more remarkable when the two fuel corporations both became members of The Coalition, pooling their resources to fight the piracy threat growing in the fringe systems. Under the leadership of CEO Wareck Gendson, it contributed several pilots and spacecraft from its own militia, and agreed to cover half of the fuel needs of the military wing of the new corporate alliance.
Arbiter Fuel Corporation and Frontline Fuels were amalgamated into Unity Fuels shortly after the declaration of Unity, and ceased to trade as distinct entities.
